Each plaque is engraved with a unique QR code. When a visitor scans it with any smartphone camera, it opens a private digital memorial page with your loved one’s life story, photographs, music and a memory wall. No app is needed.

Is the memorial page private?

Yes. Every memorial lives at a secure, unguessable address. Pages are hidden from Google and other search engines, never listed in any directory, and can only be opened by scanning the plaque or using the private link we send to your family.

Who creates the memorial page?

You do, with our help. Straight after ordering you receive a private link where you can write their life story and add photos, milestones, family and a favourite song — it saves as you go. Our team then reviews and polishes everything before it is published, and updates are free for life.

Why don’t I receive the QR code myself?

To protect your family’s privacy and guarantee a perfect engraving, QR codes are generated securely by our studio and engraved directly onto your plaque. This prevents copies, misprints and unauthorised sharing.

Will the plaque withstand South African weather?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Our granite, solid brass and marine-grade 316 stainless steel are chosen for harsh sun, coastal air, hail and frost. QR panels are engraved, not printed, so they never fade.

How long does delivery take?

Most plaques are engraved and delivered within 5–15 working days, depending on material. We deliver nationwide with The Courier Guy or Aramex to your door, or to a pickup point near you: Pudo lockers, PAXI (PEP, Tekkie Town & Shoe City), PostNet or Pargo. Delivery is free on orders over R2 500.

Can I see a proof before engraving?

Yes. We send a digital proof of your inscription and layout for approval before anything is engraved. Nothing is produced until you are completely happy.

How long is the memorial page hosted?

Accepted Answer

For life. Hosting is included with every plaque — there are no subscriptions or renewal fees.

Can the plaque be fixed to an existing headstone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each plaque comes with the appropriate marine-grade adhesive and concealed fixings, plus a clear installation guide. We are also happy to recommend a local stonemason.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept card, Instant EFT and SnapScan-style QR payments through trusted South African gateways such as PayFast, Yoco, Ozow and Peach Payments, as well as manual EFT.
